Betty and James shared a true love story of 68 wonderful years together. She was a very caring wife, wonderful mother, wise grandma and a patient great-grandmother. Betty was a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed sitting on her porch and watching the hummingbirds. She loved spending time with her family, playing guitar, dancing and singing. Betty could be found in the kitchen cooking meals for all to enjoy. She always put her trust in the Lord and her supporting light shined bright. Her love was a ray of sunshine and has touched many lives. From a motorcycle in the holler to Carnegie Hall, she lived life to the fullest. Betty will be deeply missed, but is now singing sweet music with her love bird.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026 with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
