Nancy L. Sprouse

     Nancy L. Steinbrook Sprouse, 70, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully at 1:50 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026 at Chillicothe Post Acute following an extended illness.

     She was born January 16, 1956, in Sagamihara, Japan, the daughter of the late William H. and Itoko Suzuki Steinbrook. 

     Nancy was a Chillicothe High School graduate, Class of 1974.  She worked at Sack and Save for 25 years and later at Walmart until she retired.  Nancy enjoyed looking for antiques, going to the casino and spending time with family.  She was an avid cat lover. 

     Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Nora and James Sands; brothers and sisters-in-law, William H. Jr. and Robin Steinbrook and Bruce A. and Melody Steinbrook; former husband who remained a close friend, Jamison Sprouse; a niece, Sarah Cruz; nephews, Dustin Lavender, Christopher Steinbrook and Bruce Steinbrook; four great nieces; and a great nephew.  She was predeceased by her brother, Bryan G. Steinbrook. 

     In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
